READ THIS MESSAGE BEFORE IMPLEMENTING THE PROJECT :

I am writing this message because , one of the people is causing trouble in my projects by leaving negative comments because, according to this person, the bearings do not fit the frame and the axle. The project includes information that Type 608 bearings should be purchased. Type 608 bearings have an external dimension of 22 mm. This person writes that his bearings are 20mm. So how can the bearings fit into this project if they are too small? His bearings are Type 619. He can't even admit his mistake. It's best to blame the other person. The model was designed in a CAD program, so there is no possibility of error. The photos below the description show all dimensions of the bearing seats. So don't write in the comments that something doesn't fit, just calibrate your printer and filament properly before printing. If the bearings don't fit into the sockets, blame yourself and your equipment, not the design and me. Greetings to 99.9% of normal people and I wish you all a nice day and successful printing.

If you don't want to waste filament, I specially prepared the file for a test print. Based on it, you will determine whether the dimensions of the bearing seats are correct. After measuring the holes, you will know how much to enlarge or reduce the model before the actual printing.

Hello Everyone

I decided to improve a few things in this fantastic project that are a constant problem for many people. I am sharing one of them here. Below are links to further improvements that I also recommend to get rid of all problems.

When you complete the project, please share a photo and a comment. Thank you and have a nice day.

In short, what have I changed compared to the original design?

  1. The most important change was the addition of a bearing arm to the lower gear with 50 teeth as it is in the upper gear. I don't know why it wasn't designed that way from the beginning. The gear with 50 teeth and one bearing was notoriously problematic. The gears wobbled, which made all the gears wear out faster and the force needed to rewind the filament was definitely greater.

  2. I thickened the frame a bit on the gear side to make it even more rigid and the bearings from the inside were completely covered. It happened that the bearings were able to slip out because they protruded significantly beyond the frame in the original design.

  3. I Added a third bearing holder for a 25 tooth gear on a 128mm axle. One more support on such a long axis was definitely missing. Below is a link to the modified gears and axles where they now have a hexagonal shape and the 128mm axle is in one piece and the worm does not wobble. It works perfectly centric in its axis. The hex-shaped axis is also easy to print compared to the round one, which was not round when printed horizontally.

  4. The last change I made that users missed are the Filament Spool Winder mounting holes. I centered them perfectly in relation to the Spool Holder Frame in terms of mounting holes and frames of both stands.

How to print ? :

  • Material : Each Rigid Filament (I do not recommend PETG - It is too flexible)
  • Layer Height : 0.2mm
  • Infill : 30 - 35%
  • Wall Loops : 4
  • Bottom Layers : 4
  • Top Layers : 4
  • Speed : - Adjust the speed to your 3D printer and the filament from which you will print the model. However, do not exceed a speed greater than 100-120mm/s. Remember that even if you use premium filament, the faster you print, the worse the bonding of the layers. As a result, the structure is weaker and susceptible to cracks.
  • Support : Yes - Necessarily under the lower horizontal bearing (Photo in Gallery)
  • Brim : No

I receive a lot of messages asking what to print for a complete project. It is complicated for many people. I had a problem with that myself. So I decided to prepare a short instruction.
