Introducing the Universal AMS Spool Adapter, designed to transform your cardboard spool issues into a thing of the past. This solution upgrades cardboard spools to reusable plastic ones, ideal for any automated material system (AMS) that suffers from dust-related problems caused by cardboard.

This adapter set consists of three parts for each size: the "Core," which slots into the cardboard spool's center after the sides are removed; the "Screw," which firmly secures the core in place and closes the other side of the spool; and a "Test Ring," perfect for quick and efficient size testing before committing to a full print.

To ensure a perfect fit for your specific needs, I offer custom-sized files upon request. Simply provide your spool dimensions, and I will generate and upload the files you need. This service aims to cater to your unique requirements, ensuring your AMS operates smoothly and efficiently.

For optimal printing efficiency and quality, I recommend setting your printer to a 0.28 mm layer height and a 0.5 mm line width. Additionally, using a random seam position helps prevent undesirable seam lines on the spool during operation in the AMS, ensuring a cleaner and more reliable performance.

Edit: I added a label that will snap into the filament holes on the spool. Print upside down, add a text modifier with 0.2 mm depth and change the filament color for that modifier. You'll be able to identify your different spools.
