Hello! Thanks for sharing these models with the community, I've just bought the K1 Max 280 and I'm so excited to start working on this project :)
Reading through the directions, I can see there is limited AIO support and the only descriptions I see are for a 280mm AIO. But there is also mention of the height being expandable, so does that mean I could expand it to accommodate something like a 360mm AIO?

The expandability refers only to the expandability in height, or in more understandable terms:
You can choose the thicknesses of the Radiators and Fan combinations urself
[30mmRad + 25mmFan]
You can NOT expand in Radiator length e.g. 280 --> 360, NOR Radiator width 120 --> 140.
The length expandability you are speaking of will be implemented in the next version update. But to be more precise it won't be expandable, unless you print new parts to accomodate the length in whole.

@DaemonKisure_1353999 doesn’t look like solder will be necessary! the biggest thing you’ll need to do outside just printing the parts is melting “heat set inserts” or “threaded inserts” into the screw holes to give the case more strength and the ability to take it apart again. most people use a soldering iron for installing heat set inserts, but its WAY easier than soldering and there are ways to do it without the soldering iron. it’s something you can find a ton of videos online demonstrating if you’re nervous about trying it.

Where do you get the Nickel Band? I can find only ones with 0.15mm thickness.

I agree that the magnet solution is too expensive,
So i will experiment a bit with the screw solution as a temporary solution in cost reduction.
I uploaded a revision into the kofi file, under "no magnets mod" (edited)
