Disco Volante 007 Benchy

After the Printables takedown of one of my Benchy cored models due to the original Benchy licence restrictions, I deleted ALL my Benchy cored models. With the recent release of the Benchy into the public domain it has opened the door to re upload the models I had previously deleted (if I can even find them all in my backups and I didn't delete them all).  

When I created and uploaded the Binky fleet as replacements, I moved or deleted the original models from my primary back up drive altogether so they may not all come back. 

All the photos and print guides are likely long gone apart from a few images I used elsewhere. As such the only files and info here are likely to be minimal with only the actual models being provided along with perhaps a couple of old pictures.

Styled on the Disco Volante hydrofoil from 007 Thunderball.

I finally got around to printing it. Discovered issues, changed those issues and now it prints just fine. It will need supports. I added custom supports to areas that need it. Most especially the gun area at the front of the cocoon and the areas underneath the gun that the boat slides into. 

I opted for a slightly different funnel design on this mod to make it similar to the cocoon funnel. I also made the gun a separate print piece to ease the problems that would arise in the tight area at the front of the cocoon. 

There are 3 files.

cocoon, Hydrofoil and a gun.

I designed them to fit together and slide apart easily.
