I underwent surgery to fix my nerves in my elbow recently and I have come to learn that PTFE retainer clips are really annoying and borderline impossible to use if you have dexterity problems.
So I designed one that would be sufficiently big and grippy so that even my bad arm could handle using it. Of course It's not just for people with dexterity problems, If you find the generic version annoying to use give this one a try.
I made a handle in the shape of a coin with ridges in the shape of a smiley making it look friendly as well :)
It is so much easier to use and positioning it how you need it in your hand than the generic version and it fits on both the extruder side and hotend side of a stock ender 3 and probably most printers.
Prints at 0.2mm layer height.
To make it dual color and make the smiley pop out pause it after 7 layers and swap color.
I printed mine with PLA but for more reliable flex I recommend PETG.
like/post a make if you found it useful. If you have feedback or ideas to make it better I'm all ears. :)
