SillyPilot - Silly Shell conversion for the Nerf Rival Pilot

This thing is so fun. Now i just need to print more shells!!! I'm going to try and fix that gap when I have time. Thank you for the hint!

Any tips on getting the tension on the bungie cords right? I find when i get enough tension to eject the shell i cant get the Barrel release to stay engaged

Bought a chrono and got some data on the different shells I use, not sure how helpful this is since its an upgraded pilot, but here it is:

SF25 tc +1 spring upgrade:

Sniper shell with 3" .527" ID alu barrel:
Full - 140 fps
Half - 164 fps

8 inch bottlenose:
Full - 197 fps
Half - 238 fps

Mega accufake:
Half - 88 fps

Mxl rifled:
Full - 45 fps
Half - 60 fps

2x elite:
Full - 100 fps
2x Half - 105 fps
4x Half - 80 fps

3x elite:
Full - 72 fps
3x Half - 76 fps
6x Half - 64 fps (kinda, second row is slow af)

For fun lmao
Blank shell with long ejector:
10.8 fps

Love this so much, it's exactly what I've been looking for.

I upgraded my Pilot with a talon claw length SF25 +1, and while its got a lot more power than stock, unfortunately there's just not enough air volume for shells like half darts through 4x or 5x elite shells.

But! It does great with just about every other shell I've tested.

(Originally I thought MXL performance was bad, but I was just using a bad dart, with the sf25 upgrade they SOAR)

I used Bambu Lab's PLA Basic Orange and Cyan, and the colors are a near perfect match. The orange on the pilot is a little more red, and the blue is just a hit darker and more green, but from a couple feet away its indistinguishable. (edited)
