Tip-Up Hook Holder (2 Versions)

2/5/25 - Added a second version of the model with a change to the style and position of the hole for the hook, I think this V2 model is a little easier to get the hook into.

I love our Beaver Dam tip-ups, but keeping the lines and hooks on them organized between outings can be a pain.  It's finicky winding the line tight if you secure the hook on the spindle, sticking the hook into the end of the wooden base works but not always great in the cold.

I saw these hook holders at the store and thought they looked like a decent idea so I whipped this model up and printed a couple for a test fit.  They worked great on my tip-ups!

To install, firmly pull/twist the base of your flag to remove it from the metal pin in the base.  Slip the hook holder onto the pin, reinstall the flag/spring and bask in the glow of neatly packed tip-ups.

Printed on my MK4S + MMU3 in Hatchbox Red PETG using a .40mm nozzle, Generic PETG profile and .20mm SPEED profile.  I set infill to 100%, it's a small & quick print.
