Lesson Plan and Constraints:

This is part two of my final project; our task was to make anything.

Summary / How to:

This is inspired by one of the mini-games played in the show Squid Game, this game was featured in the relay race as one of the harder games out of the five.

For anyone creating their own, I recommend to make sure to dimension everything so no values and sizes are off.

Assembly/Construction Instructions:

The cap:

  1. Make a new part
  2. Select the front plane
  3. Make 2 parallel lines
  4. Use the arc tool to make an arc on each side to close the shape
  5. Use smart dimensions to make sure the shape is 10.50 cm in length
  6. Use smart dimensions again and make sure the parallel lines are 2.00 cm apart
  7. Boss-extrude 0.50.cm
  8. Make another shape identical to the first but make it so it is a little smaller
  9. Have this shape on the top of the extruded one
  10. Select this new shape and Extrude - cut
  11. Do not cut through the shape, leave some at the top so it is closed off

The Body:

  1. Make a new part
  2. Select front plane
  3. Use the same shape used from steps 3,4,5,6 in making the cap
  4. Make sure it has the same dimensions
  5. Boss-extrude by 0.15 cm
  6. Take the same shape from Step 8,9 in the cap section
  7. Boss-extrude by 0.25 cm
  8. On the top of the second extrude make 5 circles
  9. Make sure to use smart dimensions so they are all the same size and evenly spaced
  10. Extrude cut every circle by 0.30 cm or 0.25 cm

The pieces:

  1. Make a new part
  2. Select the front place
  3. Make a flower shape with 6 arcs
  4. Boss-extrude by 0.25 cm
  5. At the top of the shape make a circle that overlaps the shape but does not go over the 6 bumps
  6. Boss-Extrude the circle by 0.1 cm
  7. Use the chamfer tool to make the edges of the top circle slanted
  8. At the top of the circle make one of the shapes circle, square, triangle
  9. Fit one of the shapes into the circle
  10. Boss-extrude by 0.05 cm
  11. Make the same shape but smaller and inside the original one
  12. extrude -cut it by 0.05 cm
  13. Use the mirror tool to mirror all of this onto the other side of the shape to make the design on both sides
  14. Repeat all the spas until you have 2 circles, 2 triangles, and one square

The shape before the mirror should look like this:

the after-product of each piece should look the same just with a different shape at the top

Design Choices / Changes:

My first version of the play set was flawed because I had made the pieces way too wide so I had to shrink them down by 0.6 cm

My only other issue after that was the pieces being too tall so I made them 0.5 cm shorter

Overall, this was very fun to make, but the way I made it was overly complicated and could have been much simpler, I also lacked self-awareness and kept forgetting to make sure the sizes of the pieces were the same or making sure they fit into the case. So most problems that came along from this project were due to my neglectfulness.
