This design doesn't work. Either the bottom falls off or the top comes off. the front piece is clearly supposed to lock the bottom-in, but the slide block is too strong and it forces the bottom slider back out. The back panel I guess is supposed to be completely glued in but then why is separate in the first place? Its slider does literally nothing. the left and right panels will let the back panel attach regardless of position.

@Venice3D_8292 Except they don't stay to together long enough to glue and there is no surface to glue onto. the middle flat pegs have too much clearance unless you used something super thick like hot glue. Hence why the back panel comes off and on regardless of the slider position.

@EnTaroReaper_161758 Sounds like an issue with printer tolerances, as the pegs were a tight fit for me. Even the type of filament can make a difference for models like this.

I enjoy this model. I made the wood one years back and wanted to see how well the 3d printed version worked out. Nice job on the design for 3d print. Works and assembles perfectly. Always liked Bruce's puzzles.

Very cool! Didn't print perfectly, I needed to sand down the edges. Now it fits pretty well. Well Done!

@IT_2510174 Glad you like it! The tolerances are very tight, so different filaments and even small differences in the print settings can make a difference to whether you need to sand it or not.

Cool puzzle box! Just needed a touch of sanding after glueing the top and bottom piece.

Excellent work! I love how well you broke the model down into easier to print components :)

I've been working on trying to assemble this door for a few days. Really could use some better instructions. Having to reprint the core again because it keeps breaking when I am trying to force the cover over the lock, which it really doesn't want to do.

Very cool! This was my first vault design and, looking back, I definitely see some buildability flaws and I'm thrilled you improved the design!

@RoccosStuff Thank you! I enjoyed making the model. I have a similar update for the Pin Tumbler Vault which I aim to post soon.

I am printing this model now. Excited to see how it turns out. I've read your assembly instructions and am ready to tackle this project. I will update with pictures when finished.

@BernardMaule_2265698 This looks great. Thank you for making it. I have been using mine for several months now, and I find it usually keeps good time, but occasionally runs fast (very fast) for a few minutes. If I can figure out why, I'll post an update.
