This is awesome and also visually really beautiful! The bearings looks like eyes and the bearing holder is a unibrow. It's looks skeptical :D Super nice work! I hope it gets installed in some places.

I had such an incredible time at the Rocky Mountain RepRap festival this year! Some of the designs I showed weren’t published yet, and boy, is this a push to finish up that documentation.
If we got to talking and you want to continue that conversation, absolutely reach out.
Printed with fuzzy skin to give a concrete look and feel.
Wrapped some 275 paracord around it so that it could be hang somewhere.
I had in mind to paint it to look like concrete but it would have worn out after a while.
Gave it to my brother and he put it on his backpack.

Woah! It’s huge!
@LineArcLine i even tried on the original ikea 56x56cm board :D. But for that the base of the feet is to short, makes it a bit instable.
Seems like my unpainted boards are within your recorded tolerances ! The tight one can't turn at all while the loose one can be rotated with little force. (edited)
Your model's dimensions are bang-on and saved me a TON of time measuring a Sharpie to create a reference model for this part that holds the Sharpie in a project I'm currently working on. Thank you SO much for creating this model! I'm kinda surprised more people haven't used it and shared their experience with it. Thanks again!
@kennyd1gital
Thank you! I agree. :)
Thank you so much this helped me a ton ! (edited)
Mine worked great. I broke one trying to fit the curtain on it but that could be my printer or me just being an idiot. If I could print them all again I would make the bottom hook longer and do a 25% infill. But these are SOOO much better than buying crappy metal ones at Wal-Mart for $10. DEFINETLY recommend.
Thank you very much Xius.
I customized it for 6x3mm magnets but didn't made the holes deep enough so the magnets are not completely flush.
They turned out great. I used insulating and fire retardant ABS as they’ll be used in an electrical cabinet, but the ABS is a bit too brittle for the snap fit. That’s on me though. Great model, thanks!
Printed with a low layer height, concentric ironing, on marble PLA. 5mm X 5mm magnets from Amazon friction mounted perfectly after a bit of clean up and force. Beautiful print. Thank you! (edited)
Fantastic design, thank you! I found some fitting magnets on Amazon and didn't even have to glue them in, they friction fit nicely. It's printed out of extrudr PLA NX2 epic purple, as that is the closest match I had to the original case color.
Unfortunately I don't know why Printables won't let me rate this design, otherwise I'd definitely give it 5 stars. (edited)
@kiliankoe Liking you used a purple similar to the existing case. Makes me want to dig through my filament samples to find a similar color. Already printed one in orange though...
This looks great!
May I ask you where this black and red/orange boxes can be found that are on the right of your planter? ;)
@PrinTiger, absolutely! They’re from one of my favorite designers, jakejake.
They haven’t moved to printables yet though, so thingiverse is the only location I know they post.

@LineArcLine Thank you so much!!
