An asymmetric solution to store five UnMatched fighters in a two fighter box. This comes in two parts. The best part is, it fits one map and the rules booklet while the UnMatched box shuts all the way!
The smaller of the two sides holds four decks and the sidekick tokens. The other holds the fifth deck, up to seven hero miniatures (except the T. Rex), and the health dials (six smaller like the Raptors or sidekicks and five large ones). Both sides have spaces under the deck that fit pieces like trap and insight tokens or Alice's size marker.
The health slots hold at least up to an 18 health hero dial. I don't have She Hulk but I believe the 20 health dials would fit. There are fillets on the inside to prevent rolling and this works well.
In the pictures, the sidekick box holds up to 18 sidekick tokens. They're too close together though, making it difficult to remove any sidekicks next to each other. I fixed this by widening the actual slot as well as the gap between the slots. The current STL holds up to 14 sidekick tokens.
Printing is straightforward. Only the rails on the hero side need supports. I used the normal grid supports on Orca Slicer, and each one came out as a single piece. I printed both sides separately at 0.16mm layer height, 10% infill, adaptive cubic infill, with a four layer brim.
My next project is to design a similar system for the four fighter boxes as well as redesign this system to store two two-player maps.
I hope you enjoy this one!
