Elevate your recording and gaming setup with my Customizable 3D printable microphone arm with adjustable joints and easy assembly for improved gaming and audio setups.

Adjustable

  • The joints can be adjusted in 10 degree intervals where they lock together, so the position is flexible, but the arm stays in place without sagging.  The microphone arm segements are kept together by 3d printed nuts and screws that are easily hand tightened. Thanks to the locking joints these don't require a lot of strength to to tighten or losen and the position can be easily adjusted (over-tightening might break your screw!).
  • Print the amount of arm segments you need, so you can attach the microphone to the desk in a position that works for you.
  • The base of the arm can be rotated, so your microphone can always be where you need it to be.
  • With 2 size clamps and screws, the arm can be attached to many size desks. Just make sure your desk is sturdy enough so you dont damage it when tightening the clamp on the desk.

Printable Parts:

  • Designed for efficient 3D printing without supports, the parts can be printed on most standard 3D printers.
  • All parts can be 3D printed except four rubber bands to make most microphones fit in the cup.
  • The microphone arm can be attached to desks with a thickness between 5 and 45 mm thanks to the 2 table clamps and screws. If this does not fit your setup, feel free to request a different size clamp and/or screw
    • The opening of the basic table clamp is 34mm, so together with the arm base of 5mm this should fit over any desk smaller than 29mm.
    • The opening of the large table clamp is 50mm, so together with the arm base of 5 mm this should fit over any desk smaller than 45mm
    • The basic table clamp screw is 20mm long, screwing through 14mm of table clamp, this leaves 6mm to make the table clamp fit smaller desks
    • The large table clamp screw is 40mm long, screwing through 14mm of table clamp, this leaves 26mm to make the table clamp fit smaller desks
  • Update 20/08: added arm small and arm smaller to print respectively 1 or 2 arm segments on a 180x180 mm² build plate (as requested by @rofiti_2276572)
  • Update 26/08: Added screw longer and arm smooth to attach 2 arm segments at the base of the arm to prevent sagging over time (as requested by @MahmoodAlKha_2134177)

Print Settings:

  • Recommended Material: Can be printed in PLA, ABS, or PETG.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm for a good balance between print quality and speed.
  • Infill: 20-30% for robust parts without excessive filament use.
  • Supports: No supports.
