This adapter uses the original clamping mechanism as the original stand for a quick and easy way to use the monitor on a monitor arm or the original stand. Since Vesa 100 uses M4 screws, it supports M4 nuts (key-width 7 mm) or heat set inserts (M4 × 6 × 6). The screws need to be at least M4 x 12 mm.
Printing with a decent wall strength is recommended. 1,4 to 2 mm wall strength would be optimal. I used PLA-Filament. If you are not sure about your printer's accuracy, try the test-part which should have a tight fit and should snap into place. Bridging 13 mm or support structures are needed. Both may require to touch up the small surface where the latching mechanism locks into place.
This adapter should be compatible with various HP monitors using the horizontal clip. Like 22 ea, 22 eb, 22 er, 22 es, 22 f, 22 fh, 22 fw and the 23, 24, 25 and 27 versions of that types.
