A simple headlight holder for the Veteran Sherman/Sherman Max. My dad changed the headlight on his Shermax to this one (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006045365200.html) and used this 3D printed adapter: https://www.printables.com/model/302948-veteran-sherman-front-light-adapter
However, the factory mounting plate on his Shermax was a bit narrower, so that one didn't fit as well as it should, and broke too easily. This design tries to keep things as simple as possible while also staying as strong as possible, since it is printed with the layer lines going along the part. Also, quick to print.
When assembling I recommend attaching the headlight first, tightening it at a 90° angle, then attaching it to the frame of the EUC.
(somewhat bad) freecad file included, cause why not. also public domain yeaaa
ps: as i was uploading this i noticed the crack in the part, lmao. photo shows a prototype printed at 0.3mm layer height and few perimeters, ideally you want to print this with thicker walls (4 perimeters maybe?)
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
