This is a 4 part (6 part including 2 gaskets) glue together design specifically for draining a Mobile 1 oil bottle into another. The angle of the bottle being drained is high enough that oil in the handle area still runs downhill toward the other bottle. The idea for this project was inspired by “rebeltaz” (https://www.printables.com/model/170171-oil-to-oil-adapter).
The 2 tubes were glued together using Loctite liquid superglue. The tubes were printed with PETG at 0.15mm layer height and 4 perimeters. The nuts were printed with PETG at 0.2mm layer height and 4 perimeters. The gaskets were printed with TPU at 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill.
You will need to print 2 nuts, 2 gaskets, and one of each tube. One tube has a male alignment feature and the other has a female feature to aid in the gluing process. The design is not especially strong given the thin walled tubes and glue joint. However, the one pictured here has held up well so far.
