1. High voltage module https://microohm-eg.com/product/400kv-step-up-power-module/

2. USB type-c charging / protection module https://microohm-eg.com/product/tp4056-18650-3-7v-4-2v-battery-charging-module-with-integrated-dc-boost-converter-module-ty/

3. 18650 Battey holder https://microohm-eg.com/product/18650-battery-case-holder-1-cells/

4. Safety DPST switch https://microohm-eg.com/product/dpst-rocker-switch-small-w-red-led-6a-250v-kcd1-104/

5. Trigger push button https://microohm-eg.com/product/red-push-button-switch-12mm-circular-small-size-2-pins-p21/

6. You'd also need a Li-ion 18650 battery with a good discharge rate due to the fact that the high voltage module would be pulling around 2-3 amps. I recommend Camelion icr18650. Find them on Amazon for 150EGP Camelion lithium-ion rechargeable batteries 3.7 volts 1 pieces - icr18650f https://amzn.eu/d/bXDrNv2

7. 2x 10mm nuts and bolts as electrodes.

8. 4x M3x6 screws.

9. 2x 10mm ring wire terminal.

Printing instructions:

  • Printed in PETG to increase impact resistance.
  • 0.2mm Layer height
  • No support
  • Solid infill

Assembly instructions:

  1. Wire battery holder to TP4056 harging module according to the schematic as shown in the pictures.
  2. Adjust potentiometer on TP4056 using screwdriver so that the output voltage is exactly 6V.
  3. Use double-sided tape to mount the TP4056 inside housing.
  4. Wire TP4056 both outputs to DPST switch according to schematics, Use continuity on multimeter to identify poles before soldering. (Make sure you pass all wires through the switch hole before soldering)
  5. Attach positive output of DPST switch to the momentary button.
  6. Attach negative output of DPST switch to the high voltage module.
  7. Attach the other side of the momentary button to the positive wire of the high voltage module.
  8. Attach each 10 mm ring wire terminal to output of high voltage module.
  9. Insert ring terminals into the 10mm screw.
  10. Insert both 10mm screws into the housing.
  11. Secure both bolts with 10mm nuts. Cover screws heads from the inside of the case with some electric tape for extra insulation.
  12. Mount battery holder inside housing with a M3x6 screw.
  13. Clip DPST switch into place.
  14. Insert the momentary trigger switch into cover and secure it with its nut.
  15. Use double sided tape to mount the high voltage module to the cover.
  16. Attach cover using 3x M3x6 screws.

Testing/Safety instructions:

  • Make sure space between screws and nuts are exactly as shown in pictures.
  • Don't use it on children, animals, old folks or anyone with heart conditions.
  • Be careful when working around high voltage. Always wear safety gear and make sure your working bench has no sensitive electronics as high voltage might damage them.
  • Spark should jump across the 6mm distance between nuts when tested.
  • Once bolts come in contact with a conductive surface / human skin it should jump across that surface between the 11mm distance between bolts.
  • Keep away from children, For long term storage please remove battery. Always keep the safety switch off when not in operation.
