After I made the double sided standup sign, I realized the signs are a bit cumbersome to put away as you can’t fold them well. So I came up with this model which can be fully folded down.
The sign has only a single side for the text to show, but that is enough in most cases and even makes it easier if you want to write your own text in the slicer.
I have created many different ready to print STL files that already contain a text. Let me know if something is missing and I can add it.
Some Slicers also allow you to easily write your own text onto the signs, for that I have uploaded blank versions.
Adding a color change after 5.2mm is recommended to make the text stand out.
Printing Instructions
How to add your own text and a color change in Prusa Slicer 2.7.4:
Right click on the model, select Add part -> Text.
Write something, choose a font and customize it. Drag the text to the middle of the sign. Emboss the text with a height of 0.8mm.
Slice the file with a layer height of 0.2mm. Right click the plus sign at the layer height of 5.40 (the first layer where you see the text appearing) to add a color change. Done.
(The KEEP CALM version of this sign was inspired by Gael Lafond’s Mini Floor Stand. Thanks for providing the SVG file.)
