This adapter plate is meant to ease the installation of an MKS Robin Nano v3.1 into the stock housing of a Kobra 2 Pro/Plus/Max.
Originally I designed it to specifically fit the Kobra 2 Pro, but the housing of the Kobra 2 Plus is the same.
Due to the same stock mainboard being used in the Kobra 2 Max as well, the plate should also fit there.
I decided to install an MKS Robin Nano v3.1 in my Kobra 2 Pro for being able to run a native Klipper.
Since I wanted to install the mainboard into the stock housing, I designed this adapter plate.
There are two mounting options: ‘vertical’ and ‘horizontal’.
For both mounting solutions you'll need M3 bolts and nuts.
Depending on which direction will be chosen, you have to use different mounting holes as you can see in the picture where I marked the goven holes in different colours:
For more pictures and a more extensive description about how to proceed when installing an MKS Robin Nano v3.1 at the Kobra 2 Pro/Plus/Max, please see the specific chapter at my infosites, where you'll also find the link to the printer.cfg I set up for the specific models:
