construction instructions

Once your parts have printed out pre fit your objectives to make sure they thread on correctly(they are a bit tricky to get installed right). Do test fits to make sure that everything fits right and then assemble. start by lubricating all points of contact between the turret neck and head. Then lubricate and stack the washers in the circular recess on top of the turret head. insert the nut into the turret neck in the nut shaped hole. thread the 12mm screw through the washers and the turret neck before adding a nut and tightening. use the last 6 6mm screws to secure the both of turret clickers to the turret neck with the nib pressing on the turret head. add the last nut onto the 12mm screw to secure it. then install the turret new 6 objective turret head onto your microscope making sure the either by hand of by using the optional 160MM turret tightening tool.

note:

  •    if the entire turret assembly pivots after being installed consider adding lubrication and tightening the turret holder using the 160MM turret tightening tool.
