@LuciaContrer_1955580 HI , sorry didn't notice this comment. My new version of this vice will grip a piece of writing paper, you can find it in my other models. On this version the grip is not quite as good for thinner items, but the grips do close all the way and touch each other. Hope this helps.

@3DimensionalThings thanks for your reply! Your newer model seems to be exactly what I need. I will post my make when I complete the print.

nice one! :) i configured nearly all slicer settings from your pdf in the orca slicer "per object" settings so that i can print everything in one print.

printed with flsun v400 delta printer
-speed: defined per model but average around 70mm/sec
-big parts: 0.16mm + 0.1mm variable layer height
-all other parts printed as described in the pdf manual (infill/supports/ etc :) )
-total print time: 17h (i sliced everything a bit to fast and had to slow down the speed after the third layer (ooops ;) )

summary:
the design is really nice and props for your great work! the upper plate sits a little bit loose (the connection of the big parts has a little bit too much space) but i will paint a layer with epoxy to the lower part and then it should fits perfect :)

all in all -> thank you! (edited)

@3DimensionalThings @NicolasAvell_1794072 i don't have exactly the gcode from the print any more but here you have the orca slicer 3mf-project & orca project file backup nearly before the print. 2 gcodes, the orca printer profile tweaked for Eryone PLA white [0.93 flow ratio, start_print macro/no bed mesh in the start gcode] and the (orca project).3mf are now inluded

-gcode #1 -> a bit faster around 60-90mm/sek gcode (<14hours)
-gcode #2 (named "slower_better") -> around 60mm/sek (~15hours) -> better take this one because of the very tiny and fragile organic tree supports. if you want you can speed up the print later after the supported parts are finished
-1x orca slicer 3mf project file
-1x orca slicer printer config bundle *
(FLSUN V400 only! gcodes/orca slicer files)

* [edit again]: i just added my orcaslicer ".orca_printer" profile to the archiv (i think only importing the orca slicer 3mf on a different machine won't work as i thought before) :) just make sure to switch back to your own profile after importing so nothing is messed up (edited)

@h3rm_38396 Sorry, i didn't saw the message until today, thank you so much

wow really(!) great design!! :) i print your v2 first because i need the design for painting a figure asap. but i will print this design later. really amazing work - especially with the detailed assembly pdf (i wish every designer would create a perfect manual for their designs like you created) - niceeee :)

@h3rm_38396 Thankyou for the kind words, it was fun to design and put together.
