MT ROTATING MODELING PAINTING VICE by Peter Martin | Download free STL model | Printables.com
The winding arms now stay in position and don't come out from the table. Still working on the Robot Arms, will upload if i can make anything more functional than the ones already uploaded.
The new version files all start MT V2 VICE -
I have included an assembly pdf in case its needed, but its very easy to assemble.
I have also included a Socket Wrench to tighten the side bolts, but it will probably need to be printed in petg, it slips too much in pla.
Hope its of use to someone else, it was fun to design and make.

You can have upto four clamps and four Adjustable Arms.
I decided to make this as my models kept moving on the table when painting.
It was also a challenge as I had to use my brain, boy that hurts!
The Vice works with the original Model Turner Base unit, but I've included two new ones in this model, one with a soldering iron rest on it.
Everything is 3D printable and works reasonably well.
When screwing the long bolts through the Side Lock Plate they will be a little stiff, so tighten them up and down the bolt once and they will run a lot smoother the next time.
You will need to Print :-
1 x Model Turner VICE Table Top FINAL (no need for supports, print table top down)
4 x Model Turner VICE Side Clamp FINAL ( high infill, no supports)
8 x M8 SIDE BOLT FINAL ( I used 90% infill with triangle pattern and organic supports and they seem strong enough having removed/put them back in dozens of times while testing)
2 or 4 x Model Turner VICE Winding Bolt Long FINAL (Print with supports lengthways for strength and high infill)
2 or 4 x Model turner VICE Main Clamp FINAL ( no supports needed)
1 x VICE Bolt Tool M8 ( easier to tighten the side bolts with this, but don't overtighten)
1 x Base Unit if you don't already have the original Model Turner.
The Robot arms are something i wouldn't use, just wanted to have a go. Will probably redo them a bit slimmer and more functional when i get the chance. I've included them in a separate folder in case you want to try them.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
