Compact 5 axis optical stage

The model does not require any supports and can be printed in just about any material.  PLA is a good choice as a stiff material is required.  I printed in PETG and it worked fine for the interferometer work I was doing.  This is designed to allow a few millimetres of travel in the X, Y, and Z axis and few degrees of pitch and yaw.

You will need: 

• M3 heat set inserts
• an assortment of M3 screws
• 4x 10mm ball bearings
• 5x 17.2mm x 6.4mm x 0.9mm tension springs
• 1/16" welding filler rod or equivalent for retaining pins for the springs
