Do you have an CD53 BMW with a radio that has a broken volume knob? This is a part to fix that.
The CD53 radio has a volume knob that you push to power on/off the radio. It seems common for this to get broken with too hard a push and you will no longer be able to turn the radio on or off. The cause is the white plastic support for the knob encoder that breaks where the knob back screws in. The part is a duplicate of the factory one with stronger bosses where the screws thread into the plastic.
You will need to take the radio almost completely apart to install this part.

Use a filament that can withstand high temperatures. I used ASA but ABS would work as well. High temp PLA would also likely work but you might need to expand the screw holes a bit. Category: AutomotiveThe author marked this model as their own original creation. Imported from Thingiverse.
