This print takes the original Pin-Support challenge and adds a valentines twist, this will test your printers cooling, bed adhesion and its love for you (or your love for it).
This print is inspired by the Pin-Support Challenge at: https://fullcontrol.xyz/
The challenge tests bed adhesion and cooling very well, it also shows clearly the limitations of a one sided cooling duct such as on my Ender 3 (as seen in photos). This challenge is not much more difficult to the original pin challenge however is a little harder due to the heart shape and I'm sure you get much better results with better cooling fans/ducts.
This gcode was designed after looking into the gcode for the Pin-Support Challenge and doing some of my own research. First the model was designed and then sliced, I then edited this file in order to obtain the upward “pin” movement.
Then there was testing… A lot of testing…
After much tuning and editing I finally ended up getting a result I was happy with, I finalized my gcode and readied it for sharing.
All the print settings are handled for you in the gcode.
This gcode file was originally sliced for an Ender 3 however should work on any printer with a print volume larger than 10x10x10cm
Please note that it is recommended you check this file in a slicer prior to printing.
Good Luck!
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
