A set of four bin boxes compatible with a MK4 Printer in an Original Enclosure.
Features
- Boxes reside on the Enclosure's bottom panel with no connection to the printer frame, reducing vibrations.
- Boxes align with the anti-slip dampers and holes in the Enclosure bottom panel.
- Tongue and groove connection between the boxes keeping them snugly in place.
- Partially raised bottom at the front for xLCD display cables.
- Partially raised bottom at the front left corner for LED/Add-On cables.
- Update 17.01.2024: Left box available in two versions.
- 45° angle at front boxes, maximizing space while leaving enough room for additional cables at the inner side of the front bottom Enclosure profile.
Additional Notes
- All boxes have holes on the bottom, aligning with the holes in the Enclosure's bottom panel. These holes have a depth of 2.2 mm, which might not be enough if you used longer screws in any of the panel's holes covered by the boxes.
Printing
- PLA with MK4 and default settings with Input Shaping and “0.2 mm SPEED”.
- Support on build plate, only for the raised bottom sections required. Fairly easy to peel off with a sharp knife.
- No support for 45° front walls or the cylindrical cutouts for the anti-slip dampers required.
- Attention: Using PLA on Satin Steel Sheet resulted in delamination of the large side boxes.
Using the flat Steel Sheet worked. You may still want to consider adding a Brim.
PS: This is my first upload on Printables. I am looking forward to your feedback.
