Thanks for the model. Printed in Sovol PLA Steel Blue. My old stiffener started bending over time so I needed to print a new one. Had to take a couple links out of my cable chain as this one wont slide up inside, but the thickness definitely helps the strength of the part and fixed my sagging problem. Thanks for sharing
At first my Sovol SV06's cable was perfect. But now that it's a few months old, the cable has pulled out of the mainboard box just enough that it let go of the stiff wires holding the cable up and the cable is sagging badly - so badly that it drags on the heatbed and snags on parts.
This support was the solution. I printed it in PETG for strength with 6 walls and 25% infill.
It fits well but pushes the cable out a bit so that the mainboard cover crushes up against the cable and won't allow the cover to fully close. If it was thinner it would be weaker so I don't know what the solution would be aside from carving out the lip in the mainboard cover (over the cable) for clearance.
It solves the problem pretty definitively though! That cable is now perfectly vertical. I also printed your extruder cable support, but I don't think it's necessary after this.

Easy print, fitted nicely.
I struggled slightly with the instructions. Learn from my mistakes! Don't unscrew hinge screws, one on outer side is enough. Front/back means closest to printer bed/outer side.
Great remix. I liked that it has several points of registration in the existing slots. The fit was perfect for my machine with pretty coarse print settings. It's also nice to have the support on the back as it adds a place to rout the USB cable for my Klipper Screen.
Very handy mod! The spine (white part on the cable) just wasn't enough to support it
