Body ring props

Design Description:

A set of rings that were designed as costume props only, designed to appear like real piercings for the nose or nipples.  These prints are available as STL files or, more usefully, can be downloaded for OpenSCAD. They are highly configurable for your personal needs. 

Each ring is designed to print easily and features rounded contact points. For prop purposes, metallic acrylic paints can be used to provide a sense of realism.

• Use case 1: Filming a scene for a show or film where props are used to convey alternative lifestyles or consensual adult activities without directly showing either.
• Use case 2: For themed events (e.g., burlesque, drag, etc.), use as a favor or as a cool way of distributing business cards or other contact information.
• Use case 3: Gag gift for people with a sense of humor. Remember, a gag is best when everyone is laughing together, not being laughed at.

Key Features:

• Highly configurable: Can accommodate almost any size variation in multiple dimensions, including the gaps for septum/nipple, the tightness factor, the overall hoop size, and the diameter of the material comprising the ring.
• Multiple types: Three different rings are provided, with different appearances. Creating a varied selection of props is easy by combining the ring types with configurable dimensions.
• Printer-friendly: Each ring has a flat underside, making printing a breeze.

Printing Recommendations:

• Material: Your preferred filament. If handling regularly, a low toxicity filament, like PLA, is recommended. 
• Supports: None. Flat undersides make printing easy.

Usage Tips:

• Select the appropriate size for your needs or configure using OpenSCAD.

• Be sensible, be safe, and be smart.

These designs are props. If you intend to use them on your body, you do so at your own risk. They were not designed for wearing.  If applied to the body, the rings would only be able to maintain position through friction and/or compression - this means there is a risk of injury and/or permanent harm. Not for internal use - 3d printed materials are never safe for this purpose without significant post-processing or use of highly-specialized equipment and materials, none of which are in-scope for this printable.  Use of these rings for any purpose other than props is outside the intended use case and is undertaken at the individual's own risk.
