UPDATE: Version 3 is available.
Shortly after creating version 1 I realized it was a bit bulkier than I liked. It functioned fine but I felt like It was “in the way”. So, I decided to make one from scratch.
There are two design options which differ mainly in visual properties.
The little retention nub has a very tight .3mm slit so you will need to be sure your printer is dialed in. Option 2 is .5mm so may be a little easier to print.
I printed this in PETG with .2mm layer height. I used 20% infill except for the top portion where the “back rest” starts. From that point up I used 100% infill. Not sure if that's necessary.
I didn't try PLA, not sure that would hold up.
I printed this with the bottom on the plate and used supports.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
