Description

PDF

This is a stand for color bottles with a diameter of 25mm or 33mm

  • 25mm for bottles like Vallejo or Army Painter (four bottles for each 90° part)
  • 33mm for bottles like Citadel or Revell (three bottles for each 90° part)

If you have empty Prusament spools - or other with the same dimension - you can upcycle them to this cool stand.

Each spool can hold 12 up to 16 bottles, as you can see on my photos.
Mix them as you like. :-)

What do you need to print for a stand as shown on the photo:

  • 12x Bottle_Holder.stl (4 for each spool)
  • 6x Spool_Lid.stl (2 for each spool)
  • 1x Knob.stl
  • 1x Foot_Middle_Part.stl
  • 3x Foot.stl

What else do you need:

  • 3x empty Prusament spools
  • 1x metal rod of 30cm length and 8mm diameter
  • 6x bearings - 608 (ZZ, RS or something like this), two for each spool

Assambing tipps:

  • glue four bottle holder into a filament spool
  • press a bearing into each lid and glue the lid into the middle hole of the filament spool (top and bottom)
  • insert stand feets into the middle part of the stand
  • insert rod into hole on top of the stand
  • put the filament spools on the rod
  • and finally press the knob on the top of the carousel

Of course, you can use more or less spools, so you have to adjust the length of to rod and the number of the other materials.
