Easily change the angle of your CR-30! These parts allow you to drop the printer's gantry angle all the way down to 15°, theoretically improving belt adhesion and printability of common parts - especially overhangs that angle away from the nozzle.
However, there are still a few caveats:
- Slicer support is limited for 15°. While you can select 15° in Creality belt, the resulting gcode is only really only usable when printing solid or thin-walled parts
- Maximum print height is reduced to about 62mm
- Print head will collide with belt adjustment screws on homing. Install an additional endstop block (e.g. the gantry to frame connector dowel) to limit X-axis travel length
- Belt adhesion does not seem to improve, possibly, again, due to slicer limitations
- The resulting angle may not be exactly 15° (or there may be other factors at work that make it seem that way. Prints sometimes come out slightly skewed.
