@Pittman Thanks for printing and posting your make!
Nice one! I tried several other pi cam mounts, love how this one travels with the X axis. It’s a bit low. Can see under the build plate early in the print. Wish the pi cam could zoom.
@PrintEssentials - Thanks, Michael! I have the ribbon on mine coming out from the top. I think I may have had to flip the camera in the settings. This was also, the camera doesn't slip out of the slot because gravity will hold it in place.
Works great!
Printed in PETG.
I made it longer because I wanted a view of the printer that didn't include anything other than the printer.
The camera tilts slightly due to sag but that's because I made it longer and the tilt doesn't bother me much. (edited)
That's a cool angle that you were able to get with your change. The new angle doesn't capture everything else in the room, and raises and lowers along with the print. Thank you for posting!
Nice print! Rapid PLA+, 0.16 height, 15% fill w/brim and structure support where needed. These V1 cameras are really cheap - don't insert yours until the last moment. I was tapping a nut through the support excess remnants with a small rawhide mallet and the vibes popped the lens off the camera board. \_(ăƒ„)_/
@mshallop - Your print looks great! Thank you for sharing it.
Am I wrong, or should it also be compatible with the Ender 3S1 due to the same plastic cap?
@exner hey long time ago, but yes the cam mount also works on the ender 3s1 thanks for updating!
@Ogram_1291538 Awesome! I added a note to the description to help others. Have a great day!
