Recommended items to complete this crane are hot glue, BBQ skewers, Popsicle sticks, rubber bands, 30 minute epoxy, kite string, small-sized hand-held drill and bits, four 360 degree rotating 9 gram servos, one receiver, transmitter, and batteries.

The Boom is 4ft 8in, 1.4m long.

The crane was a bit of a challenge. I made it from scratch going off of only what I knew about cranes and how they worked. it took me about a week to actually print everything off. I went through many different design changes to make everything work.

NOTE!!!
Many of the parts are grouped together for convenience in printing, individual Parts if you don't want to put it in groups are at the bottom of the list you don't need to print every single thing on here most of them are covered in the upper section parts list.

Post-Printing

-The larger Tower sections are meant to go together easily with 30 minute epoxy and the pins that they are printed with.

-The smaller T-arm sections will NOT fit after printed. You must hand drill carefully to make the holes slightly larger so that everything fits well. After that just add in the epoxy and put it on a flat surface, best to let Set overnight. If done correctly Tower pieces should come out lined up perfectly.

-T-arms with Servo spots need to be put in a specific way please look at pictures.

-There are four very small holes in the turntable top to line up the center T-arm section, to attached just use epoxy.

-Counterweight is one pound.

-The string I used is 30 pound kite string

-When you print off the second set of slide rollers, those two wheels go on the ends of the crane not in the slide roller itself, this is how the counterweight is placed.

!!!Do not glue T-arm ends on until you have the slide rollers on!!!
