This is a mod for the S300 mini-ITX computer case. This mod eliminates the tall bottom feet and top handle, and replaces them with a front frame and lower profile rear feet. This allows you to use the case both in its default horizontal as well as a vertical position. The vertical position is perfect for saving space (at the expense of cable spew out the top), but also allows for better ventilation of the case especially if you're using bottom case fans. Best of all, this does not restrict access to the side panels, so you can leave it in place when getting into your computer.
To use, print the front frame and two of the low profile feet. You will want to remove the top handle and stock feet from the case, and then re-use the front handle screw and all 4 bottom feet screws with this set. For the handle screw, I also found it necessary to add a nut for the default screw, though you can use any screw and nut combo you have in your possession.
Printing can be done with default 20% infill, and I actually do use PLA as it seems to work fine with the material.
I have also included the STEP and F3D files, if you need to modify the frame for tolerances or for your own modifications. Have fun!
