Great models! What did you use to glue the halves? Superglue? Hot glue? Or something else? (edited)

@AndreaP_1256965 A little bit of everything.
If you used the pillar with built-in fillers, super glue or tacky glue has been my go-to.

If you use the standard pillars I use hot glue or construction adhesive.

If you are worried about any of your glues keeping complex shapes with large play glue some food box card or poster poster board to the top and bottom, and then cut out the shape. This will help add that extra bit of connection to keep them rock solid. I keep intending to add such pieces as printable add-ons but life has a way.

So happy to see your awesome prints and your fun little tower stack! Eager to see what shapes you come up with!

Thanks for the sample!

Really easy to print. No supports needed. Printed in Elegoo Matte Black PLA.

I printed these in batches and got the best results when printing either all veridical or all horizontal pieces.

I added some additional variety by flipping the planks either horizontally or vertically or both.

I'll note that they're quite precarious when left free-standing, so you'll want to use some (temporary) adhesive putty to hold them in place and together if you use them in a game.

Cheers!

Always Be Printing! (edited)

Really love these, saw them on YouTube (Tabletop Time) although I've had trouble with printing times being like 6 hrs per single wall, is there any recomened settings for a FDM printer and did you print them laying flat or standing up?? I'm new to 3D printing BTW

Haha thats great to hear! Glad it's had my files reach more people.

For the base Set It was deisgned to be printed flat for FDM. Use the 'halved' wall sections and they should come in oriented flat on the print bed.

With 5 walls on a print bed prusaslicer is estimating 3h42m.

I recomend .2 Layer Height, 3 bottom and top layers, 2 walls, and 10% infill for most things. Especially just starting out in your 3D printing journey it'll be hard to go wrong with these standards.

Just as an FYI the paid version does come with instructions/recomended settings. If you don't / haven't paid the Crypts file freebies should also have a little instruction PDF with the same recomended settings (but without some of the useful part counts and assembly instructions).

Happy printing!

These set looks really perfect for warcry. Do you mind sharing what printer settings you are using, they all look so smooth!

The trick is actually with how I split everything! I actually justed printed with .2mm LH, and 5% infill, 3 layers and 3 shells.

The orientation of each part I tried to make so the lines are either hidden or adds to the textures.
