Hang up those pesky brooms. A good solid hook for your utility room, closet or basement. It's prominent enough to hang a coat on as well, and a hole or two might be useful for a hanger or a string for some other use I haven't conceived yet.

There are several other hooks available here and in the other place, for glue-on or screw-on mounting, but I wanted one with a bit of style, and some nice fillets and chamfers for added strength. Hope this one appeals to you too.

A single #6 or #8 screw seems to work well into a hollow-wall anchor to secure it (to drywall in my application).

There are two sizes, one thinner than the other for some brooms and items that might have a smaller hanging hole. The smaller one of course has a little less support-weight capacity.

See also my other laundry-room utility hooks under Hanger Hook – they're a bit different for other applications.

Notes:

It seems to be plenty strong at 20 to 30% fill, but if you need more strength bump up the infill in your slicer.

A couple of tiny thru-holes are simply there to add a bit more strength (causing extra 'exterior walls' ). Increasing wall layers would thus strengthen it further, if you needed even more weight capacity for some application.
