Michal_Fanta's stackable SBox are fantastic storage boxes, with several nice features and a few short comings. My main annoyance is that the stack able lips are on the bottom of the boxes and sticking out. This makes the boxes a little unstable and catching edges of the table and other things it is placed upon. Other short comings are addressed by Henry in his fixes and included in the improved folders. Among them the ability to use M3 screws as hinges

Required hardware

This list of hardware is what I use to assemble the boxes. DIN916 could replace all DIN912 screws for a more “polished” look.

  • Hinges improved: 2x DIN912 m3x25mm (barrelheaded screw)
  • Latch front: 4x DIN912 m3x35mm
  • Latches bottom: 8x DIN912 m3x35mm
  • Side handles (medium and large box): 4x DIN912 m3x25mm
  • Lid stacking lip: 4x DIN912 m3x40mm
  • Lid handle: 2x DIN912 m3x25mm
