I got tired of my Pi rack sagging so I redesigned it from the ground up, using aluminum extrusions as the base structure. The design is modular allowing you to use horizontal or vertical bases (or both) with whatever spacing you want.

Fits 0 - 18 Pi 4s. Hardware recommendations below are for 14 Pi 4s with SSDs.

Hardware:

  • 1x 435mm 20 x 20mm extrusion (5mm channel)
  • 1x 435mm 10 x 20mm extrusion (5mm channel)
  • 28x M5 T-slot nut (5mm channel)
  • 28x M5 x 6mm button head screws
  • 10x M4 T-slot nut (5mm channel)
  • 10x M4 x 30mm button head screws
  • 2x M5 x 8mm button head screws
  • 4x M4 x 8mm button head screws
  • 5x 80mm Fans

Tools:

  • Metric M3-M8 tap and wrench set
  • Metric ball end allen wrench set

Updates:

  • Added STEP files
  • Changed the extrusion lengths to the exact dimensions
