Bushings are useful for adapting shafts and holes. With the chamfer and flange options, the bushing can fit in holes with eased corners, and can support itself in a drilled hole.
The taper options make the bushing into reducer or cone. Pasting a couple bushings together can adapt different sized shafts.
The adapter0p625_poleTaper is a combination of two bushings, used to mount a 5/8" threaded shaft on a taper-ended rake-handle for holding a GPS antenna. A plain 5/8" bushing to match the threaded shaft was combined with a bushing tapered to match the rake-handle-end. Multiple bushings could be assembled together in OpenSCAD or within PrusaSlicer.
