The Whistle Tip rocket is a fun model rocket that features a nose cone with four holes that produce a whistling sound as it flies through the air. This rocket was designed and prototyped for use with Estes 1/8" rod launch pad, Estes 18mm C6-3 and C5-3 motors, and Quest Q-Jet 18mm C12-4 motor. The rocket is 34mm in diameter, it has a total length of 23", it weighs 116 grams with the motor installed, and it will fly 500+ feet. It is 3D printed in ABS plastic and it is made up of 6 parts; the nose cone, the upper body tube, the mid fins, the lower body tube, the base fins, and the motor cap. For reference I included an image of the Open Rocket design file. 

Assembly: Test fit parts before assembly, make any adjustments needed with sand paper. Glue Base Ring to Base Fins. Install shock cord on Lower Tube Mount. Glue Mid Fins to Lower Tube. The Glue Upper Tube. Glue Tube assembly to Base Fins. Attach the shock cord to Nose Cone Base, and then add the parachute.
