Standing String Art - Easter Egg for Kids

This String Art project was originally designed as a hands-on activity for 60 children. Instead of using a wood backing and nails, this String Art project uses a 3D Printed frame. The holes are large enough to allow children to “decorate" their egg with yarn. You don't even need to use a needle! For the younger children, we wrapped scotch tape around one end of the yarn like a shoelace aglet. Then children used that to pull the yarn through the holes. It was neat to see all the different designs they came up with.
