Rugged Box with Horizontal Inserts (Parametric)

The rugged box and inserts are based on my parametric “Rugged Box”.

The size of the inserts (and box) can be modified in Fusion 360 (f3d file available in the files section).

You can increase the “InsertDummies” parameter to add additional inserts to design your own inserts very easily.

Assembly

You will need six M3x30 screws to assemble it.

Cut a piece a foam (~10 mm thick) for the lid to hold down the inserts when closed.

I like these screws which have a nice round head:

Or, if you want no screw head at all, which I personally like even more:

Note: I recommend the stainless steel ones. The blackened ones are oily and have to be cleaned.
