My Grandma asked me if I could make links for her bird to play on, so I designed these in FreeCad. I made four basic shapes that use the same connection point to add a little physical variation. I exported the files from FreeCad, sliced them in PrusaSlicer, but they looked way too large during the print. So I stopped that print, scaled them down 50% in PrusaSlicer, then exported them from there. I re-sliced them and printed all four in a batch. I printed that batch five times in different colors of filament.

The links all have a opening to connect them together. There needs to be a little flex as they are put together. I printed in PETG, but PLA would work perfectly too. I tested the links on my dog's box to make sure they wouldn't slip off before giving them to her. When I Facetimed with her, she said they work perfectly and her bird loves them.
