This is a stackable Airsoft Suppressor Baffle that I made for Surefire LLC replica suppressor. Print as many as you need and just stack them. Each one is 16.6mm high, and they have 1.6mm overlap, so a stack will be N*15mm+1.6mm high, where N is the number of baffles.
It is compatible with SOCOM556, KAC QD and other suppressor replicas with the inner diameter of 32mm.
Printing in FLEX filament will prevent it from breaking in case of a baffle strike. Turn them with the narrow part of the funnel towards the replica.
DIMENSIONS
Outer diameter: 32mm
Hole diameter: 11.5mm
Baffle height: 16.6mm
Baffles overlap: 1.6mm
SCALING THE MODEL
You can scale the model in your slicer prior to printing to fit a suppressor of a different inner diameter. If after scaling the angle of the cone does not go too low, you can use just X-Y scaling. In other case you can also adjust the Z scaling to achieve an angle that your printer can handle without supports.
NOTE ON EFFICIENCY
The best results with airsoft replicas are still obtained with plain open-cell sponge with an optional spring in the middle, but the difference is marginal. Even this suppressor removes the high-pitched tones that give away your position.
If you like gimmicks and you don't have a sponge at hands, this is a good choice.
Check the laws of your country to verify the legality of suppressing the sound of airsoft replicas. If your laws don't allow it, you should not be using this!
