Star Wand

This is one of a series of wands I made for my 3 year old daughter. Once her friends saw them, they all wanted one. They can be resized and printed for different ages (two sizes uploaded).

I've also made Silicone molds and then castings using polyester casting resin to get different colors and glitter.

Instructions

Sliced at Medium quality in Makerware (0.2 mm layer height, 10% infill). Printed on a Replicator 2 in PLA.

The mold was made using OOMOO 30 and castings were made using Castin' Craft polyester resin with metal flake mixed into the resin/catalyst mix. See manufacturers instructions for details.
