My Flight Simulation Sixpack Family keeps growing: A fully 3D printed Gyro Compass. Articulation by two standard stepper motors similar to the Altimeter and an encoder for the Heading Bug adjustment.

UPDATE 2024-12-21: Fusion 360 source added

The Heading bug is driven from the simulator to assure synchronicity. Glue the bug carefully to the indicator.

Print the arrow disc with color change to white for the top 0.4mm or paint carefully.

An adapted spacer frame is included in this model to hold the arrow disc. Fit the nose it in the notch at the rear.

Material needed:
4 Screws M3x6
4 Screws M4x10
3 Screws M4x20
2 Steppers 28BYJ-48 plus driver board
1 EC11 Encoder (15mm Plum)

Software for X-Plane 12 for the complete Sixpack can be found on GitHub MartinRusk/Sixpack (github.com)
