Hi first: Thank you for making me fall in love for corne
second: im so new to this and just got my PCB and i wanna print this is there any version with no holes on the bottom i SEARCHED EVERY WHERE BTW i don't know 3d and this is my first print although a third party business is printing it for me my last straw is to put a wooden plate under it because i care about the sound (edited)

@Emmetvakilza_2614407 what version of the case are you looking to print? I could DM you an edited stl file with a solid bottom, but it might be rather.. chonky.

I'm not sure I follow with the wooden plate though.

@void Sorry for responding late, i wanna make the 6col_eiga_tented version and i came through another conclusion:
what if i leave the holes be and raise the whole cases height a bit and leave enough room for a clear resin bottom on top of the holes for achieving the ilghts of LEDs and better sound. and i though about completely removing the bottom and putting a clear plastic as the bottom but there would the problem of attaching the case to the clear plastic and maybe making it move wobbly

ohmm again so sorry im new to printing this is my first print and im still learning thanks alot for guiding me, Love your work (edited)

@Emmetvakilza_2614407 no worries at all.

a translucent bottom would definitely help with light diffusion, if you plan on using LEDs on your build.

the thing with split ergos though (I don't want to be all doom and gloom, but..) is that they kind of all sound the same, and its not a particularly good sound signature.

the tented version is kinda neat in that regard because when elevated, due to its open bottom, the sound disperses and does not reverberate inside the case.

@void so you mean there wouldnt be much difference in sound if the bottom was closed ? cuz if the bottom is closed i can dampen with sponges and different things and cut out holes in the spong for the led to shine through but if its open the dampening effect would be less (edited)

@Emmetvakilza_2614407 there would be for sure, but it's my opinion that the closed bottom would sound worse than the open one

@void thanks for the kind guidance, the last thing that i wanna annoy you about is that is there any specific settings that i should be aware of? other than 100 percent filling? this is my first print ever (edited)

@Emmetvakilza_2614407 nothing in particular. most of my models are optimized for .4mm nozzles, but other than that the only thing that comes to mind would be the usb/trs ports: you might want to add supports in those areas depending on your filament of choice and if your printer is not that good with overhangs and part cooling.

@void i dont know what overhang is but no i dont think i would change it and yes my printer is not that good (edited)
