Completely inspired by heartbreakballer's 2023 F1 calendar, I wanted to make one for Indycar. It contains the dates, track names, and track outlines which are printed in relief.
I printed in three colors, with a Galaxy Black baseplate, Micro Center True Red lettering, and a top layer of Monoprice white for the track outlines. Total print time was about 16 hours with a 0.4mm nozzle, which you can cut down on by using shorter layers, or increase by slowing down the print or using a 0.25 nozzle. I decided to slow down the print to 80% speed using the dial on the front of the printer when I loaded up the second layer color, because I wanted it to give me clean lines for the lettering.
This prints the baseplate at 2.5mm, and each additional layer at 1mm. I think it looks nice.
You'll want to glue stick the entire surface, because this thing will peel at the corners.
I also suggest you print out a little corner as a sample before you commit to this whole thing. Some colors don't do as well with the fine detail letters. I found the Oh My Gold! was kind of streaky, for instance.
