PDF

A case for a Raspberry Pi Pico (W) to allow it to both be attached to a wall and have a Pack attached. In my case, a Pimoroni Pico Enviro+ Pack.

The case does not close off the gap between the Pico and the Pack to avoid temperature build-up affecting any temperature sensor readings from the Pack's temperature sensor, vents at the top to allow hot air to convect out of (and vents on the rear surface in case it's not against a wall), enough distance between Pico and the wall to allow clearance for the USB cable and the screw used for attaching to the wall, and a compliant mechanism for using the Boot button on a Pico W (should align with a Pico non-W but not tested) that has enough support so the extension to reach the button shouldn't be particularly fragile. No printing supports required.

Bill of Materials

  • Raspberry Pi Pico
  • Something to attach on to this (I'm using a Pimoroni Pico Enviro+ Pack)
  • 4x M2 screws, 10mm long
  • 4x M2 heat-fit threaded inserts, 3mm length, 3.5mm outer diameter
  • 1x screw to attach to the wall

Print without supports, fit threaded inserts, assemble. Easy!
