This was a fun project to make, the models are well designed with endless options, just requires some planning first.
Approx 1kg Polymaker PLA white(frames and light filters), 250g Polymaker PETG Black(for overlays), NODEMCU Esp8266 board running WLED, used 500 addressable leds@5v , 60 led/m. Overall was pretty fun to make, make sure you print test pieces to make sure slicer settings are correct, and pieces fit together properly. I will probably do another project similar to this one, just more custom designs as suggested by the description.

@MichaelFolz_756929 I just completed this tonight, pictures to come. Ended up using about 1kg pla white, 250g petg black. Approx 200 hrs total print time, including a few errors. Overall really like the end product.
@Hobbit1337_193991 nice! i was close in my estimates, i was thinking of using clear instead of white for the cover part. But white would likely look nicer. But 200 print hours is nuts! thanks for the warning
