Perfect! Tx :) (edited)

very nice. I have used Pi with Octoprint since I bought my printer. But recently I switched to PrusaLink on Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W (see below) which is great for daily use.
Very nice model! Everything fits perfectly. I made a remix to free Ethernet port and all USB ports.
Thanks, glad you like it!
Top 👍🏻
mam aktywne chłodzenie na aluminiowej obudowie i weszło z lekkim oporem i trzyma się świetnie
Thanks, glad you like it!
Printing a second one for my 2nd MK3S+, thanks for designing this, it is exactly what I needed.
(I have the same case but with the two fans, fits perfectly as well).
The mounting bracket was specifically designed to house a Pi4 with a pimoroni heatsink case in a manner which allows the Pi4 to easily slide into place but not much more freedom than that. If you take a look at the *.stl file and rotate the view you will notice there are wedges on the inside of the bracket that ensure a close fit yet allow for air to circulate around the heatsink case of the Pi4. Print it and you will see what I mean.
Is it expected that the Mounting Bracket does not fit snug? I have a very similar cooling case, telling from the specs the same dimensions: https://joy-it.net/en/products/RB-AlucaseP4+07
My Pi has ample space to move around and is easily bend over when one of the USB cables have a tight fit. (edited)
Hi Glowen,
I really like the stable design and the support free print. It is much better than the one I came up with for myself.
There are some draw backs with it: Ethernet and USB ports are covered and I can't use the camera cable or any of the GPIO pins. In my setup I have a camera attached plus a small OLED screen to show the vital signs of the printer. Was this designed in Fusion 360? if so, could you provide the .f3d file?
Thanks! (edited)
Hi Olivier. Thank you for the kind words. My focus was to make a mounting bracket which would work for my application. I have WiFi so no need for access to the Ethernet Port. The 2 USB 2 ports seem to get the job done regarding interfacing the MK3S using Octoprint and the web cam that I have (a Logitech C270). The frame is a lot stronger as designed so that's why access to the USB 3 and other ports was deemed unnecessary. In case you would like to remix the design I have added a link to the original source file on TinkerCAD. Cheers, Gary
Hi! Amazing design! My only problem is that you blocked the Ethernet Port and the 2 USB 3 ports. Would there be a posibility to uncover those, or is it a structural choice you made to block them?
where is that link?
I just tried the link on the Files tab and it worked for me. Here's the link again. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/kzH8D25nHez
This looks great! I have the same case and was thinking of designing a case. You have done a great job, is there any chance you could modify it for 4.6mm screws with head depth of 4mm?
This would then be perfect for the Lack Enclosure, to attach to the 50mm width legs. If not I will try and import it into Fusion 360 and modify the holes. (edited)
the link is not working anymore
